Just over a decade ago, SP’s first commercially-released track, Sundaze, was signed and released by CoolRogRox & Digital Vinyl Recordings on their 2013 WMC Sampler. With DVR celebrating their 20th anniversary, SP was asked to revisit his first release on the label.
The result is a massive overhaul of the track: completely rewritten from scratch – including the addition of frequent collaborator TypicalPeña (who also provided vocals on Battle Angel) on live bass guitar – the ’24 VIP of Sundaze is a groovy, summertime drum & bass roller. With horns, guitars, vibey synths and crisp and cracking drumline, this one is sure to get tows tapping and hips swinging!
