New “Secrets EP” from SP on Omni Music

Available in February, the new “Secrets EP” on Omni Music shows SP’s deeper side with a three track release. Featuring two halftime D&B productions (Secrets and Airborne) along with a more ‘head-y’ drumfunk tune (Dissonance) to round out the trio.

After bringing Subliminal Messages Radio back online via livestreaming on Twitch, SP makes his return to Bassdrive.com after a long hiatus.
Previously arriving at Bassdrive through co-hosting Revival Radio with Methodus, the newly D&B-centric SMR will sound familiar to long-time fans of Revival, while adding a bit more energy and bounce to the second hour of the show.
“I’m super stoked to be back with the crew at Bassdrive,” SP says. “They’re the best at what they do, and I always enjoyed working with them. It made sense to come home, so to speak.”
Join SP on Tuesdays at 2pm east coast time, dual-streaming on Bassdrive & Twitch.

“I’m glad to be back online and getting to play tunes to an audience again. With the pandemic throwing the world into chaos, a lot of folks went to streaming DJ sets. I didn’t hop on the train early on due to a number of reasons, but I felt like it made sense to start doing something again in the DJ realm, now that I’ve been back in the studio making tunes and remixes… One just kinda lends itself to the other, you know?”
You can find SP over on twitch.tv/therealdjsp, playing every Tuesday night for at least an hour (usually a bit longer), along with the audio rips of the stream available on his Mixcloud page – typically posted one week behind the live show.

Been away a while… So here’s a mix!

So, I’ve been away for a while… over two years, really. Life is weird, right?
But I’ve still been keeping up with tunes and mixing and gigging from time to time.
There’s even been talk of bringing Revival Radio back in some shape or form, for all my Bassdrive heads out there. No promises, but you never know.
Anyway, I got hit up to do a mix for Alpha Rhythm last month, and I wound up being really pleased with a (somewhat inebriated) Sunday evening mix session… Appropriately named “Drinks At Sunset,” it’s got a ‘chill out, but still bounce around’ type of vibe.
